Holly McIntire was born in New York City on the 13th of July 1941. The American citizen is the daughter of Jeanette Nolan (mother) and John McIntire (father). She spent her childhood with a younger brother who goes by the name of Tim McIntire.
She was a student at the University of California LA where she received a BA in English. Holly later joined the University of IOWA to obtain an MFA degree in photography.

As earlier mentioned, Holly Mclntire’s father is John Mclntire whose full moniker is John Herrick Mclntire. He was born on the 27th of June 1907 in Spokane, Washington to Chastine Uretta Herrick McIntire and Byron Jean McIntire.
John was a University of California alum who earned a living as a character actor. His acting career started on the radio when he joined the cast of Tarzan and the Diamond of Asher. When the Los Angeles radio station produced The Adventures of Bill Lance, John played the title character. He joined television around the mid-1950s, debuting on the sets of sitcoms, anthology series, and dramas. The actor recorded his best-known gig in NBC’s Wagon Train.
John Mclntire died at the age of 83 on the 30th of January 1991 in Pasadena, California, United States, after he lost his battle with cancer.
Mother
Holly Mclntire’s mother, Jeanette Nolan was also an actress in the United States. She was born on the 30th of December 1911. Jeanette Nolan was an award-winning actress best known for The Virginian TV series which she appeared in from 1962 to 1971, Dirty Sally in1974, and Macbeth in 1948. She died on the 5th of June 1998.
Brother
Holly Mclntire’s younger brother, Timothy John McIntire (Tim McIntire for short) also followed in the family tradition. He was an actor who was seen in the 1978 American Hot Wax as Alan Freed. In 1981, Tim was featured in the movie, Stand by Your Man as singer George Jones. His other movie appearances can be seen in productions like Brubaker (1980) and The Gumball Rally (1976).
Born on the 19th of July 1944, Tim died on the 15th of April 1986. Holly’s brother died as a result of heart failure at the age of 42.

Holly was the Sarah we saw in Gunsmoke, she came as Elaine Joseph in Perry Mason, her character was named Connie Langford on the set of The Lieutenant, McIntire played Kay in Dr. Kildare and her character was named, Ruth Tasker on the set of Rawhide.

Holly excelled in photography
According to Holly McIntire, she came to the realization that she wasn’t deriving fulfillment in front of the camera and that her forte lay behind the camera. Holly stated that when you work behind the camera each production will be your brainchild from start to finish.
She thus joined the University of Iowa where she bagged an MFA degree in photography before going ahead to create a niche for herself in the field. Her photography soon started gaining recognition. Today, you can find her work in several museum collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Oberlin College’s Allen Memorial Art Museum, the Yale University Art Gallery, University of Virginia’s Fralin Museum of Art, the Ringling Museum, and New York Public Library.

Holly McIntire’s personal life
Holly McIntire has tested matrimony two times – she became the wife of American actor, Michael Butler after the duo exchanged vows on the 27th of January 1962. Butler’s best works include The Gauntlet (1977), The Car (1977), and Pale Rider (1985). No child came from their relationship which ended in June 1966.
McIntire spent the ensuing three years as a single lady but on the 6th of April 1969, she got married to the American poet laureate, Charles Wright. Their marriage is still ongoing and they have two children together.

Now known as Holly Wright, Holly McIntire is still alive as there is no other reason to believe otherwise. However, there is information on what she has been up to these days. This fact is worsened by the fact that she is not active on any social media platform and there is no way to keep up with her life.
