Born in 1993, Chandler Belfort is a psychologist who works as a mental health counselor at Dr. Sari Kaplan’s private practice in New York. Chandler first worked in public psychiatric institutions after graduating from the university. However, she is best known for being the daughter of Jordan Belfort, the millionaire stockbroker who went to jail for defrauding his clients of over 200 million dollars.
Chandler is now married and living in New York with her spouse Connor Winter who earns a living as a project manager. The two are yet to become parents, though it is still early days for them.
Chandler Belfort is a child of the 90s
Chandler Belfort was born on the 29th of June 1993 in the United States of America. Her parents are quite popular in the US, while Jordan Belfort (father) was a stockbroker turned writer and motivational speaker, and Nadine Caridi (mother) was a famous model but runs a YouTube account named Dr. Nate’s talking bar as a relationship expert. Chandler is of mixed ethnicity with German, American, and Italian ancestry in the mix
Chandler is not the only child of her parents as the daughter of the former millionaire stockbroker shared her formative years with a brother, Carter Belfort who is younger than her by a few years. Unlike Chandler, Carter obviously followed in their father’s footsteps, working in Jordan Belfort’s business in his capacity as a VP of brand development in the firm, Global Motivation Inc.
She has a good relationship with her parents
Chandler Belfort has a close resemblance to her dad and shares a close bond with the former stockbroker. Her dad periodically shared photos of his daughter on social media but it must be said that Jordan wasn’t a very good example to his children during their formative years.
Going by the tidbits we gathered from reports, as Jordan got richer, the stockbroker became trouble as he started having numerous illicit affairs which were conducted in the full glare of the public. Jordan even confessed to once kicking Chandler’s mum, Nadine down the stairs, and of course, that didn’t look nice in the sight of his young and impressionable children. He was also heavily into substance abuse and subjected himself to rehab which proved unsuccessful.
Thus, when her parents finally divorced, Nadine got custody of both Chandler and her younger brother, Carter. Unlike Jordan, Nadine seems to be closer to the children, she celebrates Chandler’s birthday by sharing her childhood snapshots with a touching caption of how their lives changed for the better because of her presence. In the photo, Nadine was bestowing her lovely daughter with a kiss. Nadine has also been sharing photos of Chandler and her husband since she got married
Though Chandler and Jordan maintained their bond while living in different continents (Chandler in Australia with her mum and new husband and Jordan in America), the young lady forged a new bond with her mum’s second husband, John Macaluso. Through John, the Belfort children gained some step-siblings – Frankie, Nicky, and Allie.
She is highly educated
While her parents, Nadine and Jordan were busy attracting public attention through their chosen career paths, Chandler Belfort took the conscious decision to follow a profession that has nothing to do with fame. The young lady chose to work in the field of psychology and undertook courses to prepare her for the job.
After her high school qualifications in 2012, Chandler joined Muhlenberg College located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, graduating with a degree in psychology. Interesting to note that, the young American lady also leveraged the opportunity to take some Spanish classes, including literature and culture.
Chandler obviously didn’t want to stop at a first-degree level as the quest for further academic qualifications took her to New York University, and joining the institution’s Psychiatric Institute, she completed her Master’s degree in mental health counseling. She also has plans of going for a Doctorate degree in the same discipline.
Chandler Belfort works as a psychologist
It goes without saying that Chandler Belfort followed in the footstep of her mom, Nadine. Her career started as far back as her college days when she was engaged at Pace University’s Social Cognition and Imagination Lab in New York as a research assistant.
She put in some months with One Love Foundation as a Workshop facilitator in 2015. Joining New York State Psychiatric Institute in 2017, the first daughter of Jordan Belfort began working as a counselor in their mental health department. In 2018, she made a stop at Berkeley College where she worked in Mental Health counseling as an intern.
Where Is Chandler Belfort now?
After working in public psychiatric institutions for several years, Chandler Belfort decided to try her hands at a private practice. As a certified Mental Health Counselor, she joined Dr. Sari Kaplan’s private practice in 2019 – a position she has retained to date.
Also, the young lady has since shed the cloak of spinsterhood and embraced matrimony since 2021, living on the Upper East Side of New York with her spouse Connor Winter.
Unlike her parents who have always cultivated fame, Chandler is obviously averse to too much attention from the public. Her nine-to-five job keeps the young lady well hidden from the spotlight and according to the reports, she enjoys a normal lifestyle.
